1250 kids Attend Theatre Parties

Los Banos youngsters—1250 of them—thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the two Christmas Theatre Parties sponsored last Monday by the local Rotary Club and Crest Theatre.

Mrs. Frank (Benny) Silva Jr. said 590 were at the first show at 9:45 a.m. and the balance of 660 saw the second hourlong show.

The smallfry greeted Santa Claus with hearty cheers as he made his appearance at both shows to pass out candy and give the official Christmas welcome.

Seven mirth provoking cartoons and a short subject, "Gold in Hills," were shown.

Rotarians and the entire theatre staff were on hand to direct the youngsters to their seats.
