C. W. Bates Is New Rotary President
Charles W. "Chuck" Bates, manager of the Central California Irrigation District, will serve as president of the Los Banos Rotary Club for the fiscal year beginning July 1. He was elected by fellow members of the new board of directors at an organizational meeting held Tuesday noon.
Bates will succeed Rotary President Ned Dickson, manager of the local branch of the American Trust Company.
Charles Alden was re-elected by the board Tuesday as club secretary; and Bill Solis was re-elected as treasurer.
Other members of the board of directors include Leonard Clover, Frank Orr, Randall Fawcett, Fred Rosa, William Gilmore, and Harry Meyer.
