Educator To Speak At Banquet For Local Football Team
Dr. James H. Corson, superintendent of Modesto City Schools, will speak before the annual Rotary Club football banquet at the Los Banos Grammar School cafeteria next Tuesday evening.
The banquet, honoring the local high school football teams and coaches, is open to the public and will start at 7:30 p.m. Advance reservations should be made with Charles Alden, Rotary Club secretary.
Miniature gold footballs will be presented to senior members of the teams, whose fathers will be guests at the event. The Lions and 20-30 Clubs and the Junior Chamber of Commerce also have been invited to attend.
Randall Fawcett is general chairman.
