Los Banos Rotary Club History
Football Banquet Next Wednesday

The annual football banquet given by the Rotary Club in honor of the high school football team and coaching staff, will be held next Wednesday evening at the grammar school cafeteria. The Lions and 20-30 Clubs will also share in the observance. The dinner will be served 7 o'clock.

Speaker of the evening will be Dick Gallagher, head coach at Santa Clara University. He will be accompanied by Vic Stephen, Santa Clara alumni president, and Harry Hayward, sportswriter for the San Francisco Examiner.
As has been customary in past years, the Rotary Club will present miniature silver footballs to each senior class member of the Tiger squad, of which there are 15 this year.

Because of the large number of Tiger rooters and supporters who would like to share in this honorary observance for the team, Rotary Club chairman Frank Peluso states that all interested persons are invited to attend. The dinner is $2.00 a plate. If possible, reservations should be made in advance, but this is not absolutely necessary.
