Ned Dickson Named Rotary President
Ned Dickson, manager of the American Trust Co, bank at Los Banos, was named to the presidency of the local Rotary Club Tuesday, to succeed Ed Evans, local Bank of America manager, who is being promoted to an executive position in the bank's San Francisco office. Dickson will take over the presidency at the club luncheon next Tuesday and will serve through next June. Evans will leave Los Banos for his new work about the first of the month.
Wm. Raznoff, general superintendent of the Central California Irrigation District, has been appointed by the directors of the club to replace Dickson as a member of the board, to serve through the remainder of the current Rotary year.
Dickson has been a resident of this city since May, 1953, when he was named to the bank managership following the retirement of the late Joseph A. Enos. He is a native of Crowley, Wyo. A graduate of Brigham Young University at Provo, Utah, Dickson later took two years of post graduate work in agricultural economics at the University of Minnesota. He joined the American Trust co. at Sacramento in 1946 and two years later was moved to the Tracy office, from where he was promoted to Los Banos.
