Rotarians See Petroleum Film

An educational sound film, in color, on the subject, "Prospecting For Oil," featured the Rotary Club program Tuesday noon. The film was presented by Tommy Dicker, of the Shell Oil Co., Fresno, and F. E. Buck, local Shell agent.
The film, a professional production, depicts the story of oil from the first crude oil lamps through the first attempts to obtain oil from the ground by means of wells; and related the progressive science and techniques employed to develop petroleum fields throughout the world.

The film is the first of a series of seven to be produced by the Shell Co. on the subject, "This Is Oil."

Meeting Postponed

Rotary President R. Lindemann announced that the regular club luncheon next week will be held Thursday noon rather than Tuesday noon, because of the fact that so many members of the club wish to be out in the field Tuesday for the first day of duck season.
