Rotary Golfers Plan Tournament

The Rotary Clubs of Los Banos, Dos Palos and Firebaugh will compete in a tri-city golf tournament Sunday at the West Side Golf Club.

W. N. Galloway, club president, reported Wednesday that the course is now in better condition than ever before. The greens are in excellent shape, grass is growing on the fairways, weeds have been cut and removed from the rough and the entire course presents a clean, attractive appearance that makes playing a pleasure.

The tournament Sunday will start at about 9:30 a.m. Players will be matched as closely as possible according to handicap rating, but the play will be on a non-handicap basis.

Galloway, Bill Woo, Gorge Ingham and F. A. Merrick comprise the tournament committee for the local Rotary Club, and all local Rotarians who can play Sunday are asked to contact one of the committee as soon as possible.
