Los Banos Rotary Club History
Scouts Are Feted At Rotary Dinner

Members of Boy Scout Troop 85, their parents, leaders and committeemen were honored at a special Rotary Club program Tuesday evening when Rex Ingersol, Scout executive of the Yosemite Area Council, Modesto, presented the annual Scout Charter to the Rotary Club, which sponsors Troop 85.
Ingersol congratulated the club on the interest it is taking in Boy Scout work and observed that this is the 25th consecutive year that Troop 85 has been sponsored by this group of Los Banos men. Ingersol also paid high compliment to Scoutmaster Wes Wilson and Assistants Marvin Jones and Bill Jackson for the fine work they are doing with the boys.
Also introduced and duly honored were Rotary's Scout committeemen, Dr. Kenneth Propst and George Hutchins.
Charles T. Kaljian, a past president of Rotary, presided at the meeting in the absence of President William Woo.
Two sound films shown by Dr. George B. Pimentel concluded the program.
