Los Banos Rotary Club History
Rotary Governor Is Visitor Here

Clarence “Pete” Petersen, Tracy ice cream manufacturer and District Governor of Rotary international, paid his official visit to the Los Banos Rotary Club this week. He attended a conference of club officials and committee heads Monday evening, and addressed the membership at the regular luncheon Tuesday noon.

Taking the theme that good Rotarians should have but one ideal—the ideal of service—Petersen stressed the many opportunities and importance of service to the community, and pointed out that the successful Rotary Club is one that is alive and active in community work.
Governor Petersen also called attention to the coming convention to be held in San Francisco, and urged all members to attend at least part of the time.
